Description

This easy winter fruit salad is filled with red & green apples, dried cranberries, kiwi and strawberries for a festive look!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium red apple, chopped
  • 1 medium green apple, chopped
  • 2 C halved green grapes
  • 1 C dried cranberries
  • 34 kiwi fruit, peeled, halved and sliced
  • 16 oz strawberries, sliced
  • Dressing:
  • ¼ C honey
  • ¼ C orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ginger

Instructions

1. In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together ingredients for dressing. Set aside.

2. Mix together chopped and sliced fruit.

3. Pour dressing over fruit and gently toss.

4. Serve immediately or cover & refrigerate before serving.


Notes

This salad is perfect for holiday gatherings thanks to its festive red and green colors.

Make sure to use ripe but firm fruit to maintain the best texture.

You can prepare the dressing ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to serve.
