Hi there! I’m Isabella, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to GoCookToday.com. I was born on a sun-kissed September day in 1990 and now live in the heart of New Mexico with my wonderful child, who keeps my days full of joy, adventure, and occasionally, flour-covered kitchen chaos.

Cooking, for me, has always been more than just preparing food—it’s a love language, a ritual, and a way of honoring both our bodies and the world around us. My greatest passion is digging deep into the roots of old, forgotten natural recipes while staying curious about the new ones emerging in the world of health and wellness. I spend hours hunting down ancient herbal blends, detox drinks, and nourishing meals that support the body from the inside out.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll probably find me practicing yoga outdoors, breathing in the desert air, and finding balance in movement and stillness. Nature fuels my spirit and often inspires the meals I create. I truly believe that food is our first medicine, and every dish we prepare is a step toward better health.
As a lifelong learner, I’m always reading books about nutrition, cooking traditions, and holistic healing. Each new page feels like a conversation with someone from another part of the world, and it reminds me how deeply connected we all are through the food we grow, cook, and share.
Travel has played a big part in shaping my cooking journey too. Whether it’s tasting fermented vegetables in a Korean village or sipping herbal teas with a Moroccan grandmother, every trip brings new flavors, techniques, and stories into my kitchen. I love exploring how different cultures nourish themselves and pass down knowledge from one generation to the next.
Go Cook Today is my way of sharing all of this with you—the discoveries, the experiments, the simple joys of feeding ourselves and our families with intention and love. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a home-cooking pro, you’re welcome here. Let’s explore, cook, and grow together.
With warmth from my kitchen to yours,
Isabella
