Description

Mint Oreo Balls made with just 3 ingredients are the perfect no-bake treat for St. Patrick’s Day! They’re quick, easy, and so delicious, no one will guess they’re made from Oreo cookies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Mint OREO Cookies, finely crushed (15.25 oz. pkg)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (1 brick), softened
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (mint green & semi-sweet)

Instructions

1. Crush the OREO cookies using a blender, food processor, or by placing them in a sealed bag and smashing with a meat mallet. Blend in batches for the best texture, stirring between blends.

2. Mix the cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese until well combined and smooth.

3. Use a cookie scoop to portion about 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture, then roll each scoop into a ball. Place the balls on a parchment or wax paper lined baking sheet.

4. Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes until firm.

5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about 1 minute 20 seconds. Stir gently until smooth, microwaving in 15-second increments if needed.

6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate and return to the lined pan.

7. Place 1 tablespoon of green or semi-sweet chocolate chips in a sandwich bag. Microwave for 40 seconds, massage gently, then snip a small corner to drizzle over each Oreo ball. Add green sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Don’t skip chilling the Oreo balls before dipping in chocolate—this helps them stay firm and keeps the chocolate coating smooth. You can make the truffles ahead of time and dip them the next day. Perfect for gifting, parties, or festive St. Patrick’s Day treats!
