Description

Marry Me Salmon is a quick and healthy dish perfect for impressing loved ones, featuring garlic, lemon, and dill flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 fillets Salmon (use wild-caught for optimal flavor and texture)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (can substitute with avocado oil)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced (fresh gives aromatic depth; powdered is a substitute)
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (opt for sea salt or kosher)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly cracked preferred)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh dill (substitute with dried dill or parsley if necessary)
  • Vegetable sides (asparagus or bell peppers), optional
  • Lemon slices or tomatoes, optional

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Whisk well and let sit for 5 minutes.

3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a lined baking sheet, spaced evenly.

4. Generously brush the marinade over each fillet and sprinkle fresh dill on top.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes with a fork and is opaque.

6. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot with side dishes.

Notes

Choose wild-caught salmon for the best flavor. Let the marinade sit for better absorption. Watch the cooking time to avoid drying out. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for added brightness.
