Description

Vibrant, zesty salmon skewers marinated in honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lime. Grilled to perfection, these skewers feature a sweet and savory glaze with a smoky char, offering a fresh, balanced meal perfect for warm-weather gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup honey
3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
Juice of 2 limes
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh lime wheels for skewers

Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C)
In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, lime juice, and olive oil
Add salmon fillets to the marinade; refrigerate for 30-45 minutes
Thread marinated salmon and lime slices onto skewers
Lightly oil grill grates to prevent sticking
Grill skewers 4-5 minutes per side, until salmon is just cooked through and caramelized
Let rest 5 minutes before serving

Notes

For best results, use fresh lime juice. Serve with rice or grilled vegetables. Substitute cod or mahi-mahi if preferred. Skewers should be soaked in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
