Description
A modern take on classic tiramisu using ripe peaches instead of coffee. Combines velvety mascarpone cream with sweet peaches, lemon, and milk for a fresh, halal-friendly dessert.
Ingredients
24–30 ladyfingers
4 ripe peaches, pitted and pureed
16 oz (450g) mascarpone cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1/2 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
2 tbsp peach nectar (or peach puree)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
Prep: Mix mascarpone with powdered sugar, lemon zest, and milk. Whisk in whipped cream.
Soak ladyfingers in peach nectar mixture (nectar + milk) and line a pan.
Spread half the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.
Repeat layers (ladyfingers, remaining mascarpone).
Chill for 4-6 hours. Dust with cocoa powder and cinnamon before serving.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for best flavor. Substitute heavy cream with coconut cream for a vegan option. Store in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
