Description
Crispy and tangy lemon pepper wings made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
Instructions
1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
2. Pat the wings dry with paper towels.
3. Toss the wings with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
4. Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
5. Cook for 12 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 10-12 minutes until crisp and golden.
6. Toss the cooked wings with lemon zest and juice before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, spray the wings lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
Adjust seasoning to taste—some lemon pepper blends are saltier than others.
Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.
